Period Y’all, founded in 2022, is a grassroots organization working to end period poverty and advance menstrual equity across Kentucky, especially in the Appalachian region. We provide direct access to period products through initiatives like Stock the Schools and Period Y’all Pantries, while also organizing events like Menstrual Equity Lobby Day to educate and empower Kentuckians to advocate for policy change. By combining community partnerships, education, and advocacy, Period Y’all works to ensure that no one has to miss school, work, or daily life because they cannot afford the products they need.
